Simple Approach to Mixing YOUR Music

In this video I go over my approach to mixing down the final stages of a track. It's quite simple. As with the whole course we are mixing in logic pro x with stock plugins. I use EQ sweeps and compression heavily as tool to either fix an issue or make a particular part of a track stand out, Reference to a well mixed track. And rinse and repeat until satisfied. Hopefully the ideas put forward in this video will help you mix your tracks in logic too. mixing isn't easy and requires lots of trial an error as well as practise. I might seem to make a choice very quickly. This is simply experience and coupled with the fact it's a video. If you need to take 30mins to decide your snare sounds better with the EQ choices then thats you. An next time you will be quicker and get better mixes.
