Fake spotify services - Playlist scams and bots galore!
Spotify playlists and promotion services are a big move right now. As the shift of the music industry happens and dives more an more into streaming. Unfortunately this bring out some bad players like "promoforartists" which is a scam. While it looks good at a glance when you dive a little deeper an have a little insight many of these sites are set up to take your money and give you nothing of value back in return. Unfortunately for these guys, They revealed their cards when stealing and running ads with my own artwork.
So whats the crack? Can you use these services?
Well yes and no. What you need to do it separate the good and the bad. There are services out there like show.co and like falling apple etc etc. But there’s a few hundred, scammy sites like promoforartists.
run your eyes over it and look for these signals.
Insane price cuts. Ads will not be 80% off for 24hrs only
Insane price cuts Pt2. Playlisting takes HOURS of time, it can’t be done for $19 more like $200 for a small campaign.
Won’t reveal their playlists or ads
Won’t reveal who they worked with (or lie about it like in the video)
Offer a number of plays / follows.
