Use Envelopes For Added Drama & Realistic Strings (Featuring FabFilter Saturn)
Were using the snare on a sidechain here, This triggers the envelope inside fabilter saturn and that envelope triggers two different characteristics by different amount. This helps us get a more realistic feeling with the midi strings. you can also do this to switch up when orchestral sampling. it adds an extra rhythm to the sound and flow perfectly with that groove of the track because its controlled by it with the sidechain.
